TH-8000two way radio
TH-8000 is a high-end professional radio, which can effectively ensure your communication privacy and personnel safety with remote kill/stun/revive, auto contact, voice encryption and whisper and 4 types of safety protection. Its ergonomic design, unique channel knob design, more reliable battery lock and various functions enable it to be extensively applied in public safety, fire-fighting, railway, forestry fire prevention, construction industry, ports and mining and so on.

Remote Kill/Stun/Revive
 Provides enhanced   security to prevent unauthorized use of lost or rental units, by remote   inhibition of either transmit or transmit/receive. A stunned radio will   return to operational use after receiving the revive code.
4 Types of Safety Protection
 TH-8000 provides 4 types of safety protection: lone worker, safety check, emergency alert and man down (optional).
Lone Worker: This function provides security for individuals who work remotely from their members. If the user does not respond to indication tone, the pre-defined emergency procedure will be activated if pre-defined time expires. .
Safety Check: If the user does not respond to safety check signal, the pre-defined emergency procedure will be activated.
Emergency Alert: Press the preset emergency key to emit emergency alarm, or secretly send ENI or background noise to pre-defined person or dispatch center.
Man Down (Optional): When this function is ON, a pre-defined emergency procedure is active if the radio is horizontally or inversely positioned for a certain length of time. Place the radio vertically to cancel the emergency alert.
Auto Contact
 This function is   helpful for environments needing close communication, such as climbing,   exploration and rescuing. The radio beeps when the user is being out of   communication range when this function is ON.

Voice Encryption
This function provides communication security against eavesdropping.

Whisper
This function can be enabled in quiet environment. It allows you to speak quietly into the radio and still be heard clearly.

6 Signaling
CTCSS/CDCSS, DTMF, 2-TONE, 5-TONE and QDC1200 are optional in order to adapt to different systems around the world. Individual call, group call, monitor and remote kill/stun/revive could be realized by 5-TONE. In addition, QDC1200 is compatible with MDC1200.

PTT ID Encode
It provides identification of radio to control center or partners. It is easy communication management.

25KHz/20KHz/12.5KHz Switchable
Different channel spacing 25KHz/20KHz/12.5KHz is optional to confirm with the regulations of different countries.

High/Middle/Low Power Switch
The radio can be switch among low, middle and high power state. Users can choose the proper power status, for battery saving, according to the talk distance.

Announce Battery Power
Press the function key and you will hear the current battery power state.

Channel Announcement
This function enables the radio to announce the current channel when users switch to a new channel. It is useful for users working in dark environment.

VOX
Hands-free operation is available when VOX function is turned ON.

Embedded Information
This function allows you to write operating records such as serial number, user information, repair information into the radio.


Public Security, Railway and Forestry Fire Prevention
TH-8000 can effectively ensure your communication privacy and personnel safety with remote kill/stun/revive, auto contact, voice encryption and whisper and 4 types of safety protection. When the radio is lost, remote control can be realized through remote kill/stun/revive; auto contact function enables you contact with your member at any time; man down alert is useful if user fall accidentally and unable to ask for help. Voice encryption and whisper can protect public communication safety as well as personal communication privacy.
Construction Industry & Mining

Due to tough, noisy, dusty environment of construction industry and mining, the communication is greatly affected as the radio easily gets dirty and the voice is low. 2100mHa Li-poly battery, superior audio, dust & water protection IP66 and unique battery lock can provide clear and smooth communication.

Ports & Logistics

Owing to dust and moist environment of ports and logistics industry, it is difficulty to clean the radio if it gets dirty. With dustproof & waterproof IP66, user can wash the dust off the radio with water, not causing damage.
